2009 – Acquisition of R&D Systems SA:
The acquisition of R&D Systems SA in Epalinges, near Lausanne, is an important step in the expansion of our research and development capabilities. This strategic acquisition strengthens our presence in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. With this integration, we are focusing on innovation and are ideally equipped to further improve our technological solutions and meet the demands of the global market.

2010 – Change of name from R&D Systems to R&D Swisstec:
Founded in 1993, the company was acquired by the INOVIS Group in 2010 and moved its headquarters to Wetzikon in 2015. The company is flexible and reliable and maintains long-term relationships with leading suppliers in order to benefit from market developments and secure favourable sources of supply.

2011 – Investment in Inobike AG in Hinwil, Switzerland:
The company aims to enrich the Swiss bicycle market with high quality and practical e-bikes and to inform customers about the latest trends in the e-bike market.

2014 – Strategic purchasing and customer integration:
The acquisition of Comsys AG – Computer Systems and the successful integration of existing customers into the INOVIS Group represents another important step in the company’s development. This acquisition extends the company’s reach and strengthens its market position.

2015 – Foundation of INOVIS Live Automation s.r.o. (ILAC) in the Czech Republic
INOVIS Live Automation s.r.o. was founded in the Czech Republic in 2015 in order to gain a foothold in Eastern Europe and offer customers there service in their own currency. The subsidiary offers industrial computers, monitors and customer-specific components without the need for imports from Switzerland. In addition to standard products, INOVIS also specialises in special requirements in areas such as medicine, transport, automation and mechanical engineering. The product range includes industrial PCs, monitors, touch sensors and more, making INOVIS the ideal partner for demanding industrial applications.

2016 – 2016 – Opening of the IPC shop NISE-Computer.de in Königsbrunn, Germany
NISE-Computer.de offers industrial PCs, also known as Box PCs, Mini PCs, Mini Servers or Embedded PCs, at attractive prices. These fanless mini PCs are available as barebone or turnkey versions including CPU, RAM, SSD and operating system. It is worth enquiring as suitable solutions are often already available or can be developed for customers.

2016 – Innovation through partnership:
The creation of the ePaperSign business unit in collaboration with EInk demonstrates the continuous drive for innovation. This collaboration is leading to breakthrough developments in digital signatures and paper solutions.

2016 – Foundation of INOVIS Live Automation Ltd. (ILAE) in Dublin, Ireland
INOVIS Live Automation Ireland opened in 2016 to meet the growing demand for high-quality industrial PCs, monitors and components in Ireland. With customised solutions for industries such as transport, medical, automation and engineering, the company offers innovative products and outstanding service. The opening is an important step for INOVIS to further expand its presence and expertise in the European market.

2017 – Opening of INOVIS Live Automation branch in London, UK
INOVIS Live Automation Ltd was established in Dublin in 2017 to meet the growing demand for industrial PCs in Ireland. Following Brexit, the company is ideally positioned to supply UK customers with EU imports. INOVIS offers high-quality industrial PCs, monitors and components, as well as customised solutions. The company is also well established in industries such as transport, medical, automation and engineering.

2017 – Focus on electromobility:
With the opening of the competence centre for electromobility, INOVIS Electric, the company is entering the promising electromobility market. The centre will be a hub for research, development and innovation in this rapidly growing sector.

2019 – Digital market entry:
With the launch of the ‘TV Stand’ web shop, INOVIS is expanding its range to include high-quality, customisable mounting solutions for TVs, monitors and panel PCs. 2019 – Strategic realignment:
The change of name and purpose of Comsys AG Computer Systems to Comsys AG Immobilien-Management marks a strategic reorientation and an expansion of the business segment. This decision reflects the flexibility and adaptability of INOVIS.

2020 – Partnership with OktoPOS:
INOVIS is entering into a ground-breaking partnership with OktoPOS, the leading store management software that offers an unrivalled range of functions on a single platform.

2023 – Expansion of healthcare solutions:
The opening of INOVIS Medical Germany underlines the company’s commitment to expanding its innovative medical solutions into new markets and improving healthcare.

2024 – Entering the IoT world and building a network:
The establishment of the IoT division and the expansion of the branch offices with freelance consultants marks the beginning of a new era for INOVIS. With the addition of the Internet of Things (IoT), the company is preparing to shape the next generation of automation technology.
