2009 – Acquisition of R&D Systems SA:
The acquisition of R&D Systems SA in Epalinges, near Lausanne, is an important step in the expansion of our research and development capabilities. This strategic acquisition strengthens our presence in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. With this integration, we are focusing on innovation and are ideally equipped to further improve our technological solutions and meet the demands of the global market.
2010 – Change of name from R&D Systems to R&D Swisstec:
Founded in 1993, the company was acquired by the INOVIS Group in 2010 and moved its headquarters to Wetzikon in 2015. The company is flexible and reliable and maintains long-term relationships with leading suppliers in order to benefit from market developments and secure favourable sources of supply.
2011 – Investment in Inobike AG in Hinwil, Switzerland:

2012 – Foundation of INOVIS Live Automation (ILAP) in Poland:
More and more companies are moving their production facilities to Eastern Europe. INOVIS Live Automation Poland was founded in Lipno in 2012 to provide these customers with optimal local support. The subsidiary offers support, maintenance and customised solutions so that customers can benefit from direct service without having to go through the Swiss parent company. The range includes industrial PCs, monitors, touch sensors and other components that are perfect for demanding industrial applications.
2014 – Strategic purchasing and customer integration:
The acquisition of Comsys AG – Computer Systems and the successful integration of existing customers into the INOVIS Group represents another important step in the company’s development. This acquisition extends the company’s reach and strengthens its market position.
2015 – Foundation of INOVIS Live Automation s.r.o. (ILAC) in the Czech Republic
INOVIS Live Automation s.r.o. was founded in the Czech Republic in 2015 in order to gain a foothold in Eastern Europe and offer customers there service in their own currency. The subsidiary offers industrial computers, monitors and customer-specific components without the need for imports from Switzerland. In addition to standard products, INOVIS also specialises in special requirements in areas such as medicine, transport, automation and mechanical engineering. The product range includes industrial PCs, monitors, touch sensors and more, making INOVIS the ideal partner for demanding industrial applications.
2016 – 2016 – Opening of the IPC shop NISE-Computer.de in Königsbrunn, Germany
NISE-Computer.de offers industrial PCs, also known as Box PCs, Mini PCs, Mini Servers or Embedded PCs, at attractive prices. These fanless mini PCs are available as barebone or turnkey versions including CPU, RAM, SSD and operating system. It is worth enquiring as suitable solutions are often already available or can be developed for customers.
2016 – Innovation through partnership:

2017 – Opening of INOVIS Live Automation branch in London, UK
INOVIS Live Automation Ltd was established in Dublin in 2017 to meet the growing demand for industrial PCs in Ireland.
